Spinach, introduced into the perforated drum are stirred continuously by a system of forks bolted into the drum.

Wastes pass through the gates forming the shell of the drum and are recovered under the unit (the transfer of this waste is either composed of a collecting conveyor belt or falls in special waste boxes).

The cleaning of the grid is ensured by two cylindrical brushes entrained by the rotating drum by driven by 2 motor shafts.
