A rinsing rack fitted with adjustable nozzles, mounted above the climbing part of the apron, is fed with fresh water.
Water level is so maintained by an adjustable overflow.
A rack, situated under the infeed chute, creates in the tank a current from the feed end to the discharge end. It is fed by a recirculating motor pump unit.
Water drain is obtained by a large diametre valve.
Maximum diametre fruit and small vegetables 50 mm. = 3 Tons/hour.
