Founded in 1998, EAMS Industrie was born from an initiative by PIRIOU Shipyards in Concarneau, who were looking to expand their production capabilities, particularly in the manufacture of all-stainless steel fishing gear for factory ships and other naval fabrications. The company was also supported by former employees of FMC (which has since become JBT Marel), a specialist in processing equipment for canned and frozen vegetables. The combination of these two areas of expertise created this unique offering.
Since 2006, EAMS Industrie has been independent of Chantiers PIRIOU and continues to develop its two distinct but complementary activities, supported by a particularly dynamic Breton and French industrial ecosystem, as well as internationally.
